This July, I had one of the most memorable experiences of my career as co-founder of ZivRa Hair Industries Private Limited. I traveled to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, to represent ZivRa Hair at the Saba Saba International Trade Fair 2025 one of Africa’s largest exhibitions.
For 14 days inside Karume Hall, I met hundreds of amazing people — salon owners, distributors, and entrepreneurs not only from Tanzania, but also from Kenya, Uganda, Mozambique, and South Africa (RSA). And what I discovered in those meetings confirmed what we always believed at ZivRa: Africa is one of the most exciting and promising markets for hair extensions.
Meeting the People of Tanzania
Every day at our booth, I welcomed salon owners and wholesalers searching for hair extensions in Tanzania. Their energy and excitement were incredible. Many told me: “We’ve been waiting for reliable suppliers who can bring true virgin hair to our market.”
When they touched and felt our virgin Indian hair extensions soft, silky, and cuticle-aligned I could see the relief on their faces. They knew they had finally found a partner they could trust.
Conversations With Our Neighbors: Kenya & Uganda
It wasn’t just Tanzanians who visited us. I met entrepreneurs from Nairobi, Kampala, and beyond who came specifically to explore wholesale opportunities.
- In Kenya, salon owners asked for closures and frontals, which are in high demand for wig making.
- In Uganda, distributors wanted bulk raw hair extensions, which they could process themselves and sell locally.
Every conversation reminded me that hair extensions in Kenya and Uganda are more than a trend they are a rapidly growing business opportunity.A Wider East & Southern African Presence
I was also amazed to meet visitors from further south wholesalers from Mozambique and South Africa (RSA).
- Mozambican distributors told me they wanted machine wefts and natural black extensions, which are most popular in their market.
- South African partners were more focused on premium virgin hair extensions, with demand for lighter shades alongside natural tones.
This showed me that whether it’s hair extensions in Mozambique or hair extensions in RSA, ZivRa’s Indian hair factory has the flexibility to serve every market need.
Why Africa Connects With ZivRa
Across all my meetings, one thing stood out: people were tired of inconsistent suppliers. They wanted trust, reliability, and quality.
That’s exactly what ZivRa brings:
Virgin Indian temple hair natural, cuticle-intact, Remy quality.
A state-of-the-art Indian hair factory with bulk-ready production.
Wholesale hair extensions customized for each market.
Partnerships that last not just one-time sales.
When I introduced our brand as not just a hair factory in India, but as a partner for African businesses, I saw the excitement in their eyes.
14 Days That Built a Lifetime of Partnerships
For me, Saba Saba 2025 was more than an exhibition. It was 14 days of building real relationships across Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Mozambique, and South Africa.
I came back with a deep sense of pride knowing that our ZivRa Hair Extensions are helping African businesses grow, and that our journey together is just beginning.
